After successfully collecting school dinner money using ParentPay for a number of years, we have decided to become to a ‘cashless’ school by September 2019.
We will begin to transition to a cashless system using ParentPay once we return from the Easter holidays on 23rd April. During the following half term, we will accept both cash and ParentPay payments up until Friday 24th May, at which point we will become a cashless school.
We have listed a few points for your information:
- Children will continue to be eligible for Universal Infant Free School Meals and Free School Meals as before.
- School trips will be added to ParentPay as and when they are booked. You will be notified by letter with permission slips attached, which should then be returned to the class teacher.
- Breakfast club and Afterschool club will continue to be booked through the office, to ensure there are places available, but must be paid for through ParentPay. Attendance for regular and occasional sessions will be debited from your ParentPay account. There will however be no change for those parents who currently pay for sessions using childcare vouchers; we will continue to invoice you, as before.
- Music lessons, sporting activities and any other clubs for which there is a charge will also be added to ParentPay.
Letters containing activation codes and log-in instructions will be provided for all those children who don’t currently have a ParentPay account on Tuesday 23rd April. If you haven’t received your details by Friday 26th April, please advise the school office.
Any invoices received prior to Easter must be paid using current methods.
For those parents who already have a child set up on Parentpay, any younger children at the school can be added by clicking on ‘Add a child’ from the home page of your existing account.
Cash will still be accepted for the following:
- Tuck money
- Charity fundraising
- PFA organised events
If you have any other questions, please do not hesitate to contact the school office.
